Healthy Expressions Education, Inc. was formed to provide educationally sound, life coping skills with a focus on the whole person, particularly to young people. The mission is to foster and improve the social, emotional, behavioral and physical well being of people through innovative, holistic and artistic self-help programs. HEE serves children and the adults who serve them. Our products and services may be used in schools, child-care facilities, community centers, treatment centers, home schools, and any child centered environment. We offer people from diverse backgrounds an opportunity to embrace a healthy approach for coping with the challenges they face in their daily lives.
Overall, our company can be characterized as a life skills education organization for people of all ages with a particular emphasis on children.

Josie is an Educational Intervention
Consultant and Reading Specialist. She holds a M.S. in Education and a B.S. in
Media Communications with a minor in Theater. A Certified Registered Yoga
Instructor and Reiki Practitioner, Josie has been instructing children to self
soothe using proven methods of relaxation and stress management, since 1999.
A teacher and health educator in a variety of
school and community settings, Josie has worked with a broad age range of
traditional and special need populations and has particular interest in helping
children, early in life, learn health-building skills that enable them to
positively direct their futures. Her
passion is to help children; adolescents and adults maximize their learning and
health potential through tools that foster healthy expression and life balance.
Josie is a recognized instructor and is
available for professional development conferences reaching educators, day care
staff, and wellness instructors. She
retains Adjunct Faculty status at a local university.
Josie's goal through this company is to teach skills that children and adults will integrate into their repertoire of strategies for becoming successful and productive members in their community. Working with children and families is inherently a strategic course of action to build a creative talent pool with the potential to foster economic development in the greater Cleveland area by expanding career and learning pathways in the arts and other creative industry.
In all her work, Josie is committed to assisting children and adults in finding and nurturing their intrinsic strengths. Through balanced living, artistic expression and business endeavors, she looks to make the Transformative Arts truly life enriching.
